Dr Amina Lalani is a paediatrician and pediatric emergency specialist who practices at the Hospital for Sick Children and in urgent care. She is a co-editor for the Handbook of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and has chaired the annual pediatric emergency medicine conference for a number of years. She has also been a past fellowship director for pediatric emergency medicine. Her current work focuses on best practices in emergency medicine in under-resourced settings, and she is collaborating with the Aga Khan Health Services in Northern Pakistan.
