Kristin  Harris

Dr. Kristin Harris completed her medical school and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto. Following her residency, she completed a two-year Royal College accredited fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Toronto. She practices as a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist with the St. Michael’s Hospital Obstetrical Department, and as part of a collaborative effort, works with Humber River Health to bring access to high risk obstetrical care closer to patients and their community.

Kristin specializes in complex maternal and fetal obstetrical care with a particular interest in maternal outcomes, clinical management, and antibiotic stewardship in context of infectious diseases in pregnancy. She also has a strong interest in improving quality of care and patient experience. Kristin is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto with research interests centred around translation of knowledge to obstetrical care providers and patients through systematic review and guideline development in an effort to support best practices in decision-making and clinical care.
