Laboratory Medicine is an essential branch of Medicine contributing to over 70% of medical decisions. We have an experienced team of laboratory professionals who use a wide array of tests and diagnostics to provide clinicians with information that helps the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

There are multiple disciplines of Laboratory Medicine staffed by about 150 dedicated professionals including pathologists, pathology assistants, scientists, technologists, technicians, and administrative staff.

At Humber River Health, our Laboratory Medicine program is fully accredited by Accreditation Canada, ISO-certified, and licensed by the Ministry of Health. We perform over 8 million tests annually providing a wide range of services operating 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
