Chantelle Violo

My name is Chantelle Violo. I graduated with distinction from McMaster University’s Midwifery Education Program, a culmination of my deep-rooted passion ignited by my personal journey into motherhood. Raising three children of my own, all born into the esteemed hands of midwives, has illuminated my path towards midwifery, of which I have a profound calling to support and guide others throughout the transformative experience of childbirth.

Before embarking on a midwifery career, I earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from York University and honed my skills in Human Resources; a background equipped with a unique blend of empathy and organizational acumen, setting the stage for a dedicated approach to client care.

I am a passionate advocate for health equity and person-centered care, and ensure that every client receives personalized attention, respect for their choices, and support that goes beyond medical expertise. I am honoured to support the miracle of childbirth with warmth, understanding, and unparalleled dedication.

In my spare time, I enjoy moments spent with my family that embrace an active lifestyle including paddle boarding and kayaking. My commitment to personal wellness mirrors the space I hold to advocate for holistic care in midwifery.
