It is the policy of Humber River Health that all requests from media for photos, information and/or interviews (patient, staff, physician or volunteer) must be arranged through the hospital’s Public and Corporate Communications department.
Members of the media are not permitted on hospital property without permission from Public and Corporate Communications. A representative from the Public and Corporate Communications Department must accompany all reporters, film crews, and photographers during their visit to the hospital. Individuals who do not notify the Department prior to coming on-site may be asked to leave by Security.
Should a major incident occur, the hospital has a contingency plan that includes arrangements for the media. A press centre will be established at the hospital and you will be given regular updates on the situation and the opportunity for interviews.
