Dr. Mara Jones

Dr. Mara Jones is a certified orthopaedic surgeon with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC). She began her education at McGill University where she completed her Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in physiology. This was followed by a Masters in Science (MSc) in Vascular pathology from The University of Toronto. She then completed her Medical Degree (MD) at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Jones subsequently attended the University of Toronto for her Orthopaedic Surgery residency. She completed her residency in 2013 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).

Following her residency Dr. Jones completed a sub-specialty fellowship in Upper Extremity and Trauma at Sunnybrook Hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto. A second followship in arthroplasty was also undertaken at the Toronto Western Hospital.

Dr. Jones in currently an arthroplasty and trauma surgeon at Humber River Hospital. Her clinical focus is on trauma, total knee replacements using ROSA, partial knee replacements and total hip replacements using the direct anterior approach and navigation.
