Dr. Stephen Reed

Dr. Stephen Reed is a certified orthopaedic surgeon, licensed with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). He attended Oxford University Medical School in England where he obtained his medical degrees (BM, BCh) and a Master of Arts in physiological sciences. He continued his education at the University of Toronto, obtaining a Master of Science in medical biomechanics in 1990.

Dr. Reed completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Toronto and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) in 1994. Before starting practice he attended sub-specialty fellowship programs in arthroscopy, sports medicine and joint replacement in Canada and Australia.

Dr. Reed is currently a staff surgeon at Humber River Health with specialty interest in sports medicine, arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery and total knee replacement. He consults and performs biologic injection therapy (PRP) at The Toronto Sports and Exercise Medicine Institute (SEMI).
