From October 27 to October 31, Humber River Health (Humber) is celebrating Canadian Patient Safety Week. This year’s theme is “All Voices for Safer Care.” Whether you deliver care, support a loved one, lead a team, or shape policy, your voice matters!
Safer care does not happen by chance. It requires collective responsibility, courageous conversations, and systems that make space for every voice. No matter if you provide care, support a loved one, lead a team, or shape policy, everyone’s voice makes a difference.

Hospital Harm Rates
Humber’s dedicated focus and commitment to patient safety have resulted in a significantly lower rate of patient harm when compared to the provincial and national averages. For more information on this, read our media release here.
Medication Errors
Humber has a Medication Error Rate of 0.007% of all medications administered in the past year based on the numerous safety measures in place for our organization.
